colourful greek delight

When you love to cook and get your inspiration from mediterranean countries you cannot do without a ‘simple’ farmers salad. In Greece they call it Horiatiki. It contains fresh tomatoes, cucumber, olives, feta, red onion and lets not forget some herbs like Oregano and most important of all, good Greek olive oil, but I mean really really good oil. Not the rubbish you buy in supermarkets. And for the feta… Please don’t settle for feta that isn’t really Greek but made somewhere in a factory where they don’t understand what they make. đŸ˜‰ A salad like this is ‘simple’ and it’s not just because of that. Investing time in finding lovely, good ingredients will always make your meals taste much better!
