Brassica oleracea var. italica, or simply Broccoli. Who hasn’t looked at this fantastic vegetable from little Asia and seen the tree-like structure that made you wonder how it would be to walk through a forest of broccoli?
I sure dream of things like that. And of course I like to eat it as well, no doubt about it. It’s one of my favourites. Vitamin B1, B2, C but also Calcium, Carotene, and Iron make up this delight.
Eat it with pasta, gnocchi, potatoes, blanched in a salad, or as a soup. Or do like I do, pretend its an edible forest and take pictures while hiking through.
